Abstract

The rapid adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies has transformed manufacturing enterprises by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) devices, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and realtime analytics into intelligent production environments. Traditional ERP systems primarily depend on periodic data updates and manual reporting, limiting their ability to support real-time operational decision-making in dynamic manufacturing environments. IoT technologies enable continuous monitoring of production equipment, inventory, environmental conditions, energy consumption, and machine performance, generating valuable real-time operational data. This paper proposes an IoTIntegrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) architecture for real-time smart manufacturing decision support. The proposed framework integrates IoT sensor networks, industrial communication infrastructure, cloudbased ERP services, data analytics, and intelligent decision support mechanisms into a unified enterprise platform. Continuous data acquisition, predictive monitoring, production analytics, and automated workflow management improve manufacturing efficiency, operational visibility, and decision accuracy. Experimental analysis demonstrates that the proposed architecture enhances production planning, inventory management, equipment utilization, predictive maintenance, and overall manufacturing productivity while supporting scalable Industry 4.0 implementation.
